Curtains Up Challenge
From Script to Stage in 24 Hours

I created this program at Lexington Children's Theatre, where the young people were locked-in to the theatre and had 24 hours to put on a play with all elements including costumes, props, set, sound, lights with a performance at the end of the 24 hours.

Actor's Toolbox

This is a 90 minute lesson plan I created to use while teaching with Wingspan Arts Education based off my experiences at Lexington Children's Theatre. It is a basic Acting 101 lesson that focuses on our three actors tools of body, voice and imagination.

Characterization

This is a six week after-school lesson that I created while working at Lexington Children's Theatre. The focus of this lesson is to create and evelop a character from your imagination. Through the process each student will then create a super hero or villian identity for their character, making it a whole lot of fun!
