in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn: facilitating pre and post class activities, maintaining

communication with school staff, teachers, parents and Wingspan employees, meeting the needs

of Teaching Artists and aiding them in classroom management and material requests, etc.

Tasks include teaching 90 minute lesson plans in an after-school arts education program, lesson

planning, gathering materials, managing a budget and mentoring Assistant Teaching Artists in

arts education. Teaching Artist discipline: Theatre, Visual Art and Cooking.
 

Education Associate/Teaching Artist       Greenbrier Valley Theatre         January 2015 – May 2015

Tasks include teaching in all of the on-site after school programs, commuting to a public elementary and

high school to teach in-school residencies, handling class registration, writing lesson plans, fundraising,

spreadsheeting, preparing mass mailings, and other office duties.
 

Tour Actor/Director                              Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre   Summer 2014 & 2015

Tasks include touring the production of Cinderella (2014) and Alladin (2015) throughout the Midwest as

an actor and director, working with up to 78 young people per week, facilitating classes on acting,

movement, stage makeup and improvisation, etc.

Tasks include co-teaching students ages 4-18 in various theatre school classes, lesson planning,

mentoring middle and high school students through an advanced company program, and learning the key

Teaching Assistant (Practicum)             Clarkesville Elementary School    Fall 2011

During this practicum I was required to assist and observe for 15 hours each week reporting to the

primary teacher for guidance. I was charged with integrating Theatre into specific lessons plans and

charged with teaching those lesson on my own.

Tasks include assisting the Introduction to Theatre professor in everyday class rituals, writing lessons

plans, mentoring students enrolled and filling in when the professor was out sick.
